Cabin Life Support Grid

The Cabin Life Support Grid regulates oxygen recycling, atmospheric pressure, and moisture levels throughout the habitable zones of the starship. Carbon dioxide is scrubbed using specialized solid-state amine regenerators, which extract impurities and convert them into breathable oxygen. The system is designed to sustain a crew complement of up to one hundred and fifty active personnel.

Auxiliary scrubbers are located in the engineering sector and the bridge to provide localized atmospheric safety in the event of main pipe blockage. The main ventilation shafts are equipped with electrostatic particulate filters to capture cosmic dust and organic particles. These filters must be cleaned or replaced after every planetary landing cycle to ensure optimal air quality.

Emergency oxygen reserves are stored in high-pressure tanks located in the vessel's lower decks. If cabin pressure drops below eighty-five percent of standard atmospheric pressure, the system automatically seals the affected zone and deploys supplemental air lines. Crew members must familiarize themselves with manual valve operations located near every hatch.
